We all thought that the myth of Manbearpig was finally settled after the Climategate. It showed what many of us have known all along but could not prove, that much of the Global WarmingClimate Change Manbearpig data was suspect and most likely altered or skewed to a certain outcome.
But give some props to AlGore for his stubbornness. I am serial. He is still out there still trying to say any kind of weather phenomenon is because of Manbearpig:
“[T]he odds have shifted toward much larger downpours,” Gore said. “And we have seen that happen in the Northeast, we’ve seen it happen in the Northwest – in both of those regions are among those that scientists have predicted for a long time would begin to experience much larger downpours.”
This is preposterous on its face. We have had Nor’Easterns before and will have them in the future. Just as we will have some summers hotter than others and some colder. Just as the Sahara will one day be green again, as it has been several thousands of years ago.
The Climate of the Earth is not predicable and never will be, and all the computer models in the world could never replicate the variables that affect the climate and the temperature of the Earth. Nature is not something that you can put into a model and predict its outcome. And with the last 2 huge Earthquakes over the last few years changing the rotation of the Earth, we have no idea what effect that will have on the climate over the next decade or millennium.
The degree - an Honorary Doctor of Laws and Humane Letters in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology - will be given to Gore at the spring commencement exercises of the College of Arts and Sciences on May 14, where he will be the featured speaker.
“Vice President Gore’s career has been marked by visionary leadership, and his work has quite literally changed our planet for the better,” UT Knoxville Chancellor Jimmy G. Cheek said in a statement. “He is among the most accomplished and respected Tennesseans in history, and it is fitting that he should be honored by the flagship education institution of his home state.”

Remember the one about Indonesian peat fires? How the large scale peat fires in 1997 contributed carbon dioxide in amounts up to 40% of a typical year’s global carbon output? Do you recall that the very next year, 1998, is touted as one of the warmest on record? If saving the planet means drastically reducing carbon emissions, why not start with Indonesia?
For all its scientific-sounding pronouncements, Climate Science is anything but a real science. Real science is a process: first you make a hypothesis, then you make a prediction based on that hypothesis, then you conduct an experiment as a test of the hypothesis. If you made a good prediction, you publish your results and refine your hypothesis; if your prediction was bad, you throw out the hypothesis and start over.
Climate Science has morphed into Climate Religion. There are no testable hypotheses; we have instead a consensus and a “science” that is impossible to disprove. Skepticism is heretical. Any and all results support the theory, once you move the goalposts far enough and boldly enough. Is the weather warmer? “We told you so.” Is the weather cooler? “Weather is not climate.” More hurricanes? “Just as we said.” Fewer hurricanes? “African dust storms.” And so on.
How ’bout we test the models that the Climate Change community tout as the compelling reason that we must “FIX IT FIX IT FIX IT!”?
What better way to test the models than to control the Indonesian peat fires? All the so-called climate experts could crank up their models and predict the climate over several years. How much of an impact do the Indonesian fires have? If the answer is “none”, how can that be explained? More importantly, are the models any better than totally naive forecasts, or none at all?
Not that I’d expect True Believers to go along with this proposal. They have too much to lose.
On February 1, Janet Napolitano’s Department of Homeland Security released a 108-page report to Congress, the Quadrennial Homeland Security Review Report. Subtitled “A Strategic Framework for a Secure Homeland”, a quick glance at the report left me questioning whether the DHS is more serious about Homeland Security than they are about advancing Obama Administration policy goals.
Tonight on KUSI, there will be a special about Global Warming (Manbearpig). It was inspired by the leak of the CRU emails and files that have shown that much of what we have heard from the so-called Climate experts has been manipulated and for the most part totally wrong. In the famous Hockey Stick graph, they leave out many well documented Climate changes that show that the Earth’s climate is always in constant change. The Little Ice Age, the Medieval Warm Period and the “warm blip in the 40s” are all left out of many of the Chicken Little’s and the Earth is melting crowd’s findings.
The NOAA has a big part in this, they along with the CRU have been a big players in the misinformation and dire forecasts of doom.
NASA Climategate Exposed Tonight
Climate researchers have discovered that NASA researchers improperly manipulated data in order to claim 2005 as “the warmest year on record.”
KUSI-TV meteorologist, Weather Channel founder, and iconic weatherman John Coleman will present these findings in a one-hour special airing on KUSI-TV on January 14 at 9 p.m. EST. A related report will be made available on the Internet at 6 p.m. EST on January 14 at www.kusi.com.
In a new report, computer expert E. Michael Smith and Certified Consulting Meteorologist Joseph D’Aleo discovered extensive manipulation of the temperature data by the U.S. government’s two primary climate centers: the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC) in Asheville, North Carolina and the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) at Columbia University in New York City. Smith and D’Aleo accuse these centers of manipulating temperature data to give the appearance of warmer temperatures than actually occurred by trimming the number and location of weather observation stations. The report reveals that there were no actual temperatures left in the computer database when NASA/NCDC proclaimed 2005 as “the warmest year on record.” The NCDC deleted actual temperatures at thousands of locations throughout the world as it changed to a system of global grid points, each of which is determined by averaging the temperatures of two or more adjacent weather observation stations. So the NCDC grid map contains only averaged, not real, temperatures, giving rise to significant doubt that the result is a valid representation of Earth temperatures.
The number of actual weather observation points used as a starting point for world average temperatures was reduced from about 6,000 in the 1970s to about 1,000 now. “That leaves much of the world unaccounted for,” says D’Aleo.
The NCDC data are regularly used by the National Weather Service to declare a given month or year as setting a record for warmth. Such pronouncements are typically made in support of the global warming alarmism agenda. Researchers who support the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) also regularly use the NASA/NCDC data, including researchers associated with the Climatic Research Unit at the University of East Anglia that is now at the center of the “Climategate” controversy.
This problem is only the tip of the iceberg with NCDC data. “For one thing, it is clear that comparing data from previous years, when the final figure was produced by averaging a large number of temperatures, with those of later years, produced from a small temperature base and the grid method, is like comparing apples and oranges,” says Smith. “When the differences between the warmest year in history and the tenth warmest year is less than three-quarters of a degree, it becomes silly to rely on such comparisons,” added D’Aleo, who asserts that the data manipulation is “scientific travesty” that was committed by activist scientists to advance the global warming agenda.
Smith and D’Aleo are both interviewed as part of a report on this study on the television special, “Global Warming: The Other Side,” which will air at 9 PM on January 14 on KUSI-TV, channel 9/51, San Diego, California. And it ends with the UN holding on to its global warming claims despite the failure of its computer models to verify while Maurice Strong goes reclusive in his condo in China, living on the oil for peace money.
Segment 3 is the debunking of the many claims of impending climate catastrophes Al Gore’s movie “An Inconvenient Truth”.
Segment 4 is the breaking news of Climategate coming to the US.

The more that we expose the falsehoods in the Global Warming advocates the easier it is going to be to stop the Cap and Trade Bill that will destroy our economy and the World’s economy.
